Miley Cyrus & Timbaland: We Belong to Music

As much as I hate to admit it, I really like it

There are many things that I hate about Miley Cyrus. To name one, I've lost even more respect for her, if that's even possible, when she dissed Twilight (not that I'm a rabid fan or anything, but I really hated her guts when she spoke about it). It's not about the fact that she hates Twilight (I doubt she really does, anyway), it's the fact that she can't take the fact that there are things that are bigger and more popular than she is. She speaks like she's so mature and that she knows everything. Heavens, I wanted to slap her face silly when I saw her interview where she stated that Twilight is a cult; her tone, her face, her attitude.. ARGH! But one thing I can't hate from her is her music. Yeah I know, hit me now.

Last month, we heard that Timbaland will have Miley Cyrus feature on one of his songs, and today after the click, we get to hear it. It's called We Belong to Music.

And Timbaland Features....

I'm on board!

The new Timbaland album which will be called Shock Value II, will feature collaborations with Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry. It will also feature previous artists who have had contributed to his album before; Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado and Keri Hilson. These are just the icing on the cake because not only this, the R&B producer has also worked with Brandy, The Fray and Drake on the much anticipated album.

"I'm really proud of the calibre of artists on this album and all the work they put into making it a success," Timbaland said. "I can promise that no one has ever heard Katy Perry, The Fray or Brandy sound like this before. It's exciting because not only am I giving fans the best of me on each track, I'm giving them a glimpse of their favourite artist in a completely different light."

Say what you must about the 'calibre' of the artists to be featured on his new album (*cough* Miley Cyrus *cough*), I'm still very excited for his new album! Miley Cyrus gets a lot of hate, but I'm not ashamed to say that the girl can sing and her songs are catchy and fun to listen to. I'm curious to see how she will sound like on this new record. I also love Katy Perry and The Fray and I am sure that they will all sound awesome. I loved Timbaland's Shock Value and I'm optimistic that I will also love Shock Value II.
