Deschanels to Share the Small Screen

Hip, hip, HOORAY!

Exciting news to be had! Zooey Deschanel (successful singer and actress) will make a guest appearance in her older sister's, Emily Deschanel, procedural drama on FOX, Bones!

The Deschanel sisters working it together! We may have hit our quotient for fun and amusing. They obviously adore each other. - Hart Hanson's (Show Creator) tweet.

I am beyond stoked for this news! I love the Deschanel sisters soooooo much and this will definitely be such a treat to see! I wonder what character Zooey will be playing, I mean, she looks a lot like Emily. But Emily's character on Bones, Temperance Brennan, does not have a sister. A cousin perhaps? Distant relative? Whatever it is, I can't wait! Zooey, the lead singer of the totally awesome band, She & Him, will appear in Bones' Christmas episode. She recently tied the knot with Ben Gibbard, lead singer from Death Cab For Cutie.

UPDATE: Zooey will be playing Brennan's cousin and there will perhaps be a love triangle between them and you know... Booth. :D. I'm so excited!

CC TV; Dollhouse, Grey's Anatomy & Bones

Mannequins, doctors, FBI & lab rats.

Now I know I've been MIA for a couple of days, but I assure you it's been for a very good reason. I had a modeling gig and that practically took most of my time. I come home exhausted and in dire need of sleep. When I wake up, I had to get ready to go again and the vicious cycle continues. But anyhow, it's done and I'm back. I'll update ClickCliqueOnline first before I do any of my other stuff that I have at hand. First of all, it's time for another round of CC TV, as promised by my tweet.

Dollhouse:
The most recent episode is the one about Sierra's (Dichen Lachman) past and how she ended up being in the Dollhouse. She's the only one who is there without her own freewill (although, I guess that've changed). It was a heartfelt episode, especially the bits that had Victor (Enver Gjokaj) in it. I mean, how touching was it when Victor took all the black paint because Sierra didn't like it? And how cute was it when Echo (Eliza Dushku) gave Topher (Fran Kranz) the painting that Sierra made? All the scenes that had Topher in it was really awesome too (he's my favourite :D). All in all, it was a nice change from the usual Echo "assignment-of-the-week" episodes.

Now, I really, really, REALLY hope that Dollhouse does not get cancelled. I mean, it's a lot better than a lot of junk that's on American TV right now (hello One Tree Hill?). It definitely deserve to stay on the air. It's smart TV, I guess that's why lots of people don't like it? I also understand that it is because it's on Friday nights and that's taboo TV night in America? Whatever the reason is, I sincerely hope it'll stay on.

Grey's Anatomy:
So the most recent episode of Grey's didn't really do anything to progress the storyarcs. It was just one of those 'fun' episodes that didn't really add to anything. It was enjoyable to watch though, a bit of laughs in there too. I always knew that Dr. Kepner (Sarah Drew) would be the first of the Mercies to go (is it Kepner? I honestly can't be bothered to remember). She was the least likeable of the bunch.

Next week's episode will be a Derek (Patrick Dempsey) episode. It's been a while, but I can't say I'm excited. Derek episodes were only good when it had Addison (Kate Walsh) and Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) in it. Well, I don't think that that's the case for next week's ep. He's dreamy though, so I guess that's reason enough to tune in.

Bones
There's nothing much to report on the Bone's front. It was yet another usual "case-of-the-week" episode with slight teases of Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel). I like the whole Mummy thing, I've always been a fan of ancient Egypt (those who know me long and well enough should know that by now).

I say cut the tease and bring on the whole romance! We can only wait for so long people; give us Booth and Brennan 2.0!
